The MOLLE grid is laser-cut into a welded outer panel, with slot edges sealed during cutting. No webbing is stitched to the shell. The grid is PALS compatible and accepts Tactical Ammo Pouches and utility pouches. Water-jet testing is carried out on finished units with the panel fitted.
IPX6 covers heavy rain, deck wash and hose-down. SL-C811 is not immersion rated. Immersion-rated IPX7 roll-top cases that float are listed under Floating Shotgun Cases.
The full-length zipper opens from either end. Opening from the muzzle end gives access to the barrel section without exposing the full interior.
